Haji Ajmal Rahmani and other MPs from Wolesi Jirga attended the virtual press conference sponsored by the US State Department Correspondents Association. Top journalists from Leading News Media organizations including CNN, Reuters, AP, Voice of America - VOA, NBC News, Agence France-Presse, Los Angeles Times, Washington Examiner, TIME, NPR, Foreign Policy, and NHK Japan Broadcasting Corporation were in attendance.

This provided a unique opportunity for US and Foreign Media correspondents to hear directly from the young leaders in Afghanistan’s Parliament and allowed Haji Ajmal Rahmani and his colleagues to brief the journalists about the specific areas of support to the brave ANDSF that US Government can provide, the brutalities committed by Taliban especially against women in Afghanistan and the Parliament’s efforts to foster political unity, promote good governance.

he group emphasized on the specific requests they made to US Senators and House Representative Members of Congress in a series of recent high-level meetings.
