Haji Ajmal Rahmani's success did not come easy, and his journey was
fraught with challenges. However, he never wavered in his
commitment to education and making a positive impact in his
community. Despite facing obstacles after the
arrival of international troops in Afghanistan, he
persevered and pursued his entrepreneurial
aspirations with unyielding determination.
Haji Ajmal Rahmani returned from abroad and
began his career in the early 2000s as an
independent transportation fleet owner leasing
asset to contractors working for NATO/ISAF under
the Host Nation Trucking (HNT) contract.
While
remaining independent from all of the HNT
contractors, Haji Ajmal Rahmani’s dedication to transparency in
reporting, meeting commitments, and conducting his business
ethically, became well-known to the NATO/ISAF customers utilizing his
trucking assets.
During this period, he continued to reinvest earnings
to expand his transportation fleet with increased capacity and
modernized trucks, staging yards,
and other specialty equipment,
enabling him to stand out as a
market leasing transportation and
logistics company.
Supreme Foodservice GmbH
(Supreme) awarded his company
multiple contracts to haul food,
perishables, and fuel for the largest
NATO bases in Afghanistan, demonstrating tremendous trust in
handling food for the troops in a war-torn country. His company
transported significant cargo for Supreme and became one of their
top performers in food and fuel transportation
In parallel to his early professional activities,
Haji Ajmal Rahmani pursued an education
completing his undergraduate studies at
American University Dubai and completed
coursework at Oxford University (UK). Haji
Ajmal Rahmani also received his MBA from
the prestigious HULT International Business
School in London, UK
He has completed training and certifications in strategic sourcing,
financial modeling, effective administration, managing self and
leading others, business intelligence, successful
planning, advance communications, risk
management, and leadership, among other
educational pursuits.
As a globally educated business leader, Haji
Ajmal Rahmani developed a diverse team of
subject matter experts, who have been
instrumental to his business success globally,
including in harsh and unforgiving areas of
operations. Under his leadership, the team
developed and implemented strategies that have become a catalyst
in his organization's hockey stick growth in several global markets.
